Pricing

Buy the shoot. Not the month you didn't shoot.

Two full projects, free, forever, no card needed. After that, buy a credit when there's a job, or subscribe if there's always a job. Every price below is in rupees, GST included, and nothing changes at checkout.

The real comparison

A mismatched take number costs you an assistant editor's whole day matching footage by eye, or a reshoot if nobody catches it before the set comes down. Against that, everything on this page is a rounding error.

What's actually free

The free plan isn't a trial

Two full projects, unlocked for good, no subscription and no clock on the grant itself. CSV export is unlimited on every project you will ever make here, paid or not, for as long as Clapper is running. A credit only buys the PDF shot log and the Premiere or Resolve export, and only past your first two projects. Try it on a real job before you spend a rupee.

Launch offer, first 10 people only

5 project credits for Rs 100

First 10 only, one per account. Claim it and you're unlocking projects at roughly Rs 20 each instead of Rs 699. Once 10 people take it, it's gone and the rates below apply to everyone, us included.

All prices include GST. What you see is what gets charged.

Clapper Studio and Clapper Studio Plus are each one subscription, not two products. They carry project credits and podcast roll time at the same time. This sheet just shows the meter that matters for what you're doing this week.

Questions you'd actually ask

I run out of credits mid-shoot. What happens on the day?

Nothing on set. Logging takes, tagging GOLD, and CSV export never stop, paid or not. You just can't unlock a new project's PDF or Premiere export until you buy or renew a credit. Wrap the day, deal with it later.

Do credits expire?

No. Buy one today, spend it in eight months, it still works. There's no clock on a credit sitting unspent.

If I cancel Studio, do my unlocked projects lock again?

No. A credit spent on a project unlocks it for good, whether that credit came from a one-time buy or a subscription renewal. Cancelling stops future renewals, not past unlocks.

Is the free plan really free forever?

Yes. Two projects, no time limit, no card on file. That grant is a one-time thing, not a monthly refill, so use it on real work rather than a test file.

Studio vs Studio Plus, in one line?

6 project credits or 20 podcast hours a month, against 20 credits or 60 hours. Studio Plus is for the crew doing fifteen to twenty jobs a month, not the one doing two.
